Hot, Humid and the middle of July. Although those three things describe Leanne and Seth’s wedding day, the picturesque views at their ceremony, laughter from friends and family, and joy definitely outshined them all.
I met (and fell in love with) Seth and Leanne over a year ago at their engagement session (see here). Like most couples during this COVID season, they had to reschedule their big day. Their original date was set for the beginning of April, but due to restrictions and wanting to celebrate with friends and family, they postponed it to July.
It was such a gorgeous day. The sky could’ve been out of a movie, it was so stunning. The couple started their day at The Barns of Kanak getting ready for their ceremony. Following their ceremony, we walked the beautiful grounds for the bridal party, family, and bride and groom portraits. Once we finished portraits, we headed to Leanne’s mom’s house for the most wonderful backyard reception. We were under a little white tent with beautiful table settings and some “TO-DIE-FOR” food.
There were so many fun and unique things going on during the reception. To start with, they had a cow bell that was being passed around. Whenever it rang, the couple had to kiss. ;) This was a lot of fun to see! Secondly, they had bride and groom money jars. Whichever jar had the most money in it by the end of the night would get some cake to the face. Seth’s jar won by a LANDSLIDE and it was so hilarious to watch cake get smashed in his face.
The reception ended with a sparkler exit and the party continued afterwards with laughter, friends, family, cheers, and a whole lot of fun! I wish nothing but the best for these two. They deserve it more than anything.
